"Be not afraid of greatness..." Hello coaches, I have been playing softball since I was 9 years old. When I stepped out on the field for the first time, I had a good feeling of what was to come. I have always been a person that sets their goals high, I don't settle for mediocre, I strive for greatness. Just like thousands of players, I've had my slumps, but what makes me different is that I don't quit. I keep moving forward and keep trying until I perform to my expectations. I do and I come out on top. I am truly committed, I don't just speak, I do, I am a leader on and off the field. I don't only focus on softball, I also make sure my grades are where they are supposed to be. I'm a dedicated student that takes honors classes and is part of the National Honors Society. Like the quote above, I can't be scared of the greatness that is within me. My main goal is to attend a university, play what I love, and pursue a career that I will strive in because I know that I can do amazing things with my knowledge and my talent.
