Hello, my name is Madelaine Gober and I am part of the class of 2025. I'm currently a catcher on my club softball team and i aspire to be a successful catcher on a college team.
Since the age of 9, my life has been all about softball. In my college career, I would like to continue developing my love for sports by being in the sports medicine field.
I would be a good candidate for any team because I bring many strengths to the table. First, I'm a team player. I am supportive of my team and teammates, I have integrity in my sportsmanship; i don't believe in making fun of the other team, putting the other team down, or intentionally hurting another player. Secondly, i am dedicated and loyal. I have been on my softball team for 5 years and have grown and changed with the team. Lastly, I offer flexibility. I am ready to change to fit the need of my coach and my team. Although my main position is catching, I can shift to alternate positions as needed.
I am different from other recruits in that i bring positivity to the field, a drive for perfection in my game, and a desire to continually grow and learn. I strive for excellence in my classes in that I am taking 3 honors courses with dual enrollment and intro to sports medicine. I work very hard to maintain above a 3.0 GPA and I'm striving for a 4.0 GPA.
