Personal Statement
My goal is to play the sport I love at the collegiate level, and pursue my educational goals. My major is Public Health, and one day hope help my Navajo people. I am very competitive athlete, and I love to play sports, but my love is the game of softball. I am from a rural area in northern AZ, and to play club softball is four hours away. When time and finances permit I play with club 18U Vendetta-AZ. I play in tournaments once a month, and get my strike outs, RBI's, and a homerun or two, but my dedication to continue at the next the level is seen in the classroom with my GPA 4.33. I usually have a busy schedule; with game/practice with my school, community events, and my family. I love my family, for they are my strength and my support system. I love music, for I play the violin, and also a blackbelt in Taekwondo which both took determinationation and hard work from me to achieve, years for my black belt. I am a leader, with all my teammates, my friends, student body, and hopefully one day for my people. What is important to me is that I enjoy my everyday surroundings; my school, classes, teammates, and team, and is key for me to pursue my educational goals at my prospective school.
