I have always wanted to play collegiate softball ever since I started taking this sport more seriously compared to others I played. Growing up, I did many sports besides softball including volleyball, basketball, cross country, track, cheer, and even not so common ones such as Taekwondo. Even though I took part in all of these sports, none of them interested me the way that softball did. When it comes to my education, I take the title "student-athlete" very seriously and I always strive to do my best in the classroom as well as the field. I am not only a 3-sport varsity Letterman, but an academic Letterman as well. I also took part in many extracurricular activities which includes marching band, concert band, Math club where I was the treasurer, our school's native american club called the Tribe of Many Feathers where I was the Vice President, and I was also apart of the National Honors Society. I take both my athletics as well as my academics very seriously so I can pursue my dream to play at the collegiate level and also so I can make my way through college to major in Biochemistry and then pursue a career in Pharmacy. These are the reasons why I believe that I would make a good candidate for your team.
