My name is Carla Burge from Abbotsford, B.C. , Canada playing for Fraser Valley Fusion 05 GOLD.
I fell in love with the sport of softball at the age of 7. For as long as I can remember, I have always had big dreams to play the game for as long as I could. As an athlete, I strive to be the hardest working player on and off the field. Not only do I work hard at practices, but outside of team events I am always working to improve my skills and become the strongest player I can be. I am a good teammate, and I pride myself on my leadership skills and my ability to help out my teammates in every way possible.
School has always been a large part of my life as well. I have always enjoyed going to school, and I strive for excellence in all of my classes. I love learning new things and expanding my knowledge. I wish to attend a college where I am continuously challenged physically and academically, and pushed to continue to become the best version of myself.
