Personal Statement
Hello my name in Natalie Alvarez I have been playing softball since I was five years old, I became a Corona Angel when I was 11 years old and have been in this organization for the past five years. I committed myself and my family to this organization because I knew this organization would help me achieve my goals of playing at the highest competitive level possible. Traveling 2 hours 3 times a week for the past 5 years hasn't been easy but I knew that consistency was going to be the key to my success. Often not passing the "eye test" because of my size has pushed me to work hard on my mechanics and technique knowing that size and strength would eventually come. Although constantly having to work on size and strength I have always been a reliable player, understanding the game and being able to be put in difficult situations is what has made me love the game. I have been hitting with Marty Tyson for 2 years and because of these lessons I have been able to learn the approach to consistently have a quality at bat and gain the information to become a smart and reliable player which helps separate me from other players.
