My name is Annabella Day and I started playing softball at the age of six. My family has always played soccer. My aunt played soccer for UCLA becoming an All American and inducted into the Hall of Fame at UCLA. I on the other hand love sports and am very competitive but decided to break the family path and continue on playing softball. When I first started I knew I loved playing the game. My dream has always been to play college softball and to succeed in not only sports but furthering my academic goals.
On my current travel team I am known as the one to always cheer everyone up and making my teammates laugh. My teammates consider me the “airhead” of the team. My passion of the game and the bond with my teammates is what I enjoy most about the game. Being part of the team I am currently on has been a bigger impact on my life. The girls on the team are like my sisters and they have helped me become the player I am today.
