I've played softball ever since I was seven years old where I played in the Cottonwood Little League. It has helped me to have a better understanding for some of the basic challenges people face in there everyday lives. Blood, sweat and tears can show a lot about someone's character. Coming together as a unit/family is also important. Dedication and determination is something all athletes desire. The willingness to go through the bizarre weather conditions, your team, and your mental attitude. Everyday game, practice or gathering of some sort there is always a way to getter better. Not only on the field but in the classroom as well. If I were to give advise to anyone who is looking for a future in softball. I would tell them that there's no limit, the more you push towards your dreams the farther you will get. So enjoy the game while it's there and play hard tell the umpire calls the game.
