It has been a dream to play softball in college for a long time, since I was a little girl. I knew I wanted to get a good education to help me find a career while also enjoying the last years of playing softball. I'm grateful for the many opportunities softball has brought and continue to bring, and the lessons I've learned and will continue to learn as I grow as a person, player, and teammate.
As I've continued my softball career I have developed a strong work ethic, while staying coachable to keep learning and be the best I can be. I believe attitude is a big factor in the game as well, so a positive attitude allows me to play looser and and without a clouded mind. I have also learned to balance school and softball pretty well. I challenge myself on the field and in the classroom to be my absolute best, even when it gets hard.
