Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Jenna Etmans. I am a 2020 middle infielder and utility player. I attend Vista Murrieta High School. I am a 4.0 student and I have an 3.88 accumulated GPA. Being an athlete has been a big part of my life. Growing up I played volleyball and did gymnastic. My parents eventually signed me up for softball and I instantly fell in love with the sport. My sophomore year, I also decided I wanted to play waterpolo. I played waterpolo for the conditioning, but also because it is fun and I enjoyed playing. At a young age I decided I wanted to pursue a softball scholarship to play in college and I have been working towards that goal throughout the years. My freshman year of high school, I made varsity softball and have played on varsity all four years. I love being competitive on the field and being put in difficult situations. Softball is like my second family and I love playing with my teammates.
