Lauren Tran '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Lauren Tran, and I am a 2025 outfielder who plays for Suncats Jimenez. Up until last year, I was a dual sport athlete. I started swimming and playing softball at five years old, and both of those sports have taught me several lessons beyond the world of athletics. Now, though swim is of reminiscence, I still carry all of those lessons close to my heart. Playing two competitive sports undoubtedly challenged me, but it ultimately strengthened my commitment and will to succeed. It also shaped my character, passion, and respect for the game, all while training me to push through hardships and develop mental toughness.

As a result of my ethics, I highly value academics and athletics. I am also dedicated to fostering a positive environment by serving my school, peers, and community. I am active in several activities in and outside of school, hoping to bring forth the skills I learn and apply them to my everyday life. As a dental assistant, I plan to use the valuable experience to get a head-start on my ambition of becoming an orthodontist.
