Katelyn Featherston '27 Recruiting Profile

My love for softball extends far beyond the diamond. Building strong relationships with my teammates is one of the most rewarding aspects of the game. Over the years, I've formed lifelong bonds with girls on every team I've played for, from recreational leagues to high school. My teammates are like my sisters, and I cherish the camaraderie and support we share.

I primarily play left and centerfield, but I've also held starting positions at short stop and second base. My versatility and ability to adapt to different positions have been valuable assets to my teams.

As I continue my softball career at the collegiate level, I'm also excited to pursue my Pre Med degree with the goal of becoming a dermatologist. I believe that my experiences in softball, both on and off the field, have prepared me for the challenges and rewards of a demanding academic program. I'm confident that my ability to balance athletics and academics will serve me well as I strive to achieve my goals.
