Being a daughter of a firefighter captain has really contributed me to learn more about what it means to be a part of a team and being a leader. Being a part of a team has taught me patience, discipline, leadership, teamwork, work ethic, and what it means to be fully committed to this sport. Besides softball being a high school student athlete has been a great learning experience to prepare me for life after high school. I have learned what it means to have great responsibilities in many categories of my life. I would like to think that I have great work ethic which has been very beneficial in not only softball but other fields as well. School has never been easy for me but I have always strived to do the best I can. I love to be challenged especially in softball I feel that having competition and have challenges to overcome has only made me stronger. Playing softball has made me realize that this is a sport of failure it really tests your mental strength because it really is a mental game. I have been so grateful to have amazing parents who have been so supportive throughout my journey without them I wouldn't be where I am today they really strive me to do the best I can I don't know what I would do without them. With my biggest supporters I have had coaches who have not believed in me but proving them wrong is one big accomplishment. I am so grateful to be apart of the amazing travel ball team that I am on I love each and every one of my teammates who love the game and have the same goals that I do. We strive to push each other and support each other no matter what. Joining this team is one of the best decision I have ever made with the support of my coaching staff I truly don't know what I would do without them. The bonds that I have created with coaches and teammates have all contributed so much to where I am at today even though they have tried to stop me with their foul negativity I never let that get in the way of my goals and dreams of taking softball to the next level.
