Hayden Kyne '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hayden Kyne. The most important thing to me is my family. Without their support, my path to reach my future goal of playing collegiate softball would be difficult to attain.  Secondly, I am a committed and focused student maintaining a 4+ GPA while being involved in extracurricular activities. I have challenged myself by taking the hardest classes available, including AP Seminar, Honors English and Honors Chemistry. My passion, however, is my love for sports. I played volleyball and soccer for my school, however, my real love is softball. I have played softball since I was 7 years old. I am committed to the game and work every day to be better. This includes hitting, fielding, catching, throwing, and working out. Currently, I play on 16U Lady Magic- Walling in Northern California. My primary positions are catcher and 3rd base, but I can play anywhere on the field and understand all of the positions. I work hard every pitch to control the strike zone and steal strikes for my pitchers. I understand and appreciate the necessity of being a cerebral player and am willing to work harder to become better. I look forward to the opportunity of being accepted to a college where I can contribute to the success of the team.
