Aleksia Severson '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aleksia Severson.  I am a Junior at Lutheran High School in Parker, Colorado. I have been playing softball since I was five years old.  I knew from a very young age that the only way I wanted to play was competitively.  I played ice hockey and soccer when I was younger but always had a passion for softball.  

I have played a variety of positions but excel at third base and middle infield.  I am a natural leader with a high IQ, good arm, quick feet and serious grit.  Those traits have helped my success as a high school varsity player and a leader in my competitive club teams. 

I probably have one of the biggest personalities on and off the field.  One of my most unique traits I have carried throughout my softball career is that I can use my leadership and fun-loving nature to lift up my team while keeping a competitive environment.  This has helped me, and my teams, fight through adversity in many situations.   I am also an extremely hard-working, disciplined player.  I believe in integrity and perseverance.  

Haley Cruse is probably my biggest softball idol.  I love her personality and work ethic.  Her ability to make the USSSA Pride team is a huge accomplishment.  I have been fortunate enough to play in Viera at USSSA Pride complex three times and it was surreal and amazing.

I work hard in everything I do.  I am a good, well-rounded student.  I have not decided on career goals yet but I have many talents and interests.  I learn quickly.  I am outgoing and intelligent.  I can’t wait to see where life will guide me as I look at my college career and future life.  I can’t imagine life without softball and am always ready to reach a new level.
