Stepping onto a softball field puts everything into perspective. It freezes time, makes stressful days go away, and makes me feel like the strongest version of myself. The game has taught me how to be confident, overcome obstacles, and push myself to be greater than I ever imagined.

Being selected captain for both softball and basketball as a freshman showed me that my coaches saw me as a player with great leadership skills, and as a great a role model to the younger players.  I have proven to my coaches through hard work, receiving consecutive MVP awards, and First Team All-Area. Playing two sports and attending a rigorous college preparatory school has taught me to have a strong work ethic and great time management skills.

I believe that I have the talent and ability to play at the collegiate level. Throughout my high school career I have improved my technique and leadership skills to become a stronger player. I have the determination to succeed, and believe I can make an instant impact on your program.
