Hi, my name is Nadia Campbell. I’ve always been competitive on the field as well as in the the classroom. I started playing T-Ball at the age of 6. After T-Ball, I decided to play Baseball because it was more competitive at the time. I played 50-70 at the age of 10 with 12-13 year old boys. At the age of 12, I decided to switch over to 14U softball. At that age, the girls were stronger and the games were quicker. From that point on I’ve been in love with the game of softball ever since.
Here are a few things that describes the player that I am. I’m coachable with a positive attitude. I’m not afraid to put in the hard work and work on my weaknesses. I believe in backing up my teammates on every play. I work on being a well rounded player on offense and defense. I always work on my athletism, my reaction time and being quick so I can cover a lot of ground on defense. I also work on being a consistent hitter so I can contribute to the team on offense.
My goal is to continue my education in Biology, Zoology, Marine Biology, or Athletic Training and Medicine while playing competitive softball in college. I work just as hard in the classroom as I do in the field. I’ve been an A-B honor-roll student since elementary school. I’m currently in advanced classes and will be taking honors classes in high school. I’m excited about going on this journey, and I want to thank you for taking your time to read my personal statement.
