Emma Ortiz '25 Recruiting Profile

I began playing softball at the age of seven and quickly fell in love with the game. I now hope to further my athletic and academic career into college. As an athlete I have found a love for the competition of the game because it pushes me to be the best player and person I can be. Competition has shown me how to fight until the very last inning and play with every bit of passion I have, encouraging not only myself but also my teammates. Although I love the game, learning is also just as important to me.   As I enter high school I look forward to joining the IB program which will challenge me academically.  After high school graduation I hope to attend a university that will allow me to grow in both competitive softball and academics.
