Hi! My name is Heartly Nepveux and I am 14 years old and live in Macon, GA. I have a twin sister that also loves the game of softball just like me! We both have high hopes, dreams and goals of playing softball at the next level whether together or apart. I will be graduating the year 2021 from Mount de Sales Academy. As graduation draws near, I have been thinking about my next steps both academically and athletically. Although my sister and I have shared every possible sporting event together, I know that choosing a college may separate us. I am trying hard to prepare myself for that but for now I will enjoy our time together. We truly know the meaning of team work and flexibility.
As a twin, I have always been compared to my sister although we are nothing alike. I think being a twin has made me work harder on my school work as well as on the ball field or basketball court. I will always be the one outside trying to improve my game or trying to get physically fit. I try to push myself to be better than I was the day before. My drive for this season is to be a triple threat in the batter’s box. I have been working with my hitting coach to be able to slap, hit and bunt on the right and left side. Being left handed does have its advantages. (even over my sister)
Academically, I have to work hard for every grade. It does not come easy for me but I push myself to make the top grade. I am pretty proud of myself for being inducted into the Beta Club last year and maintaining a 3.9 grade point average through softball and basketball season.
I believe 'heart', work ethic, determination, integrity and drive makes for a great athlete and teammate. Let me show you what I am made of!
