Personal Statement

Aloha My name is Mikayla Kekoa and I am a Senior at Kohala High School and I graduate in 2019.  I am 5'9" and I am a right-handed pitcher and first basemen.

There is no other sport that can compare that amazing feeling I have when I'm on the mound.  

Softball had taught me about character,  support, teammates, and friendships, but most of all it has taught me how to dig down deep and continue going when everything is against me.  I love playing softball and work hard to be a good student. I am a dedicated player, team leader, hard worker, competitive, and coach-able. I have the desire to practice and to work hard so that when I am on the field I can yield the results that I desire.  

It would be a dream of mine if I could play softball in college while getting an education.
