Alyson Rodriguez '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Alyson Rodriguez I am a freshman at Marist High School in Chicago, IL. I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old and have had a passion for the game since I started playing. At 8 years old I joined my first travel team and have been playing travel softball ever since. 

My primary and favorite position is catcher. I also play and enjoy third base. One of my strengths is my hitting consistency. 

My goal is to play at a high collegiate level. I have worked over the years to advance in the levels I play at. I currently play in PGF tournaments. I feel I would be a good candidate because I show determination and leadership. I am also a very coachable player on and off the field. 

I am very capable of balancing sports and school. Along with playing travel softball, I have also played travel basketball. I have participated in softball and basketball for my school as well. While playing for multiple teams at one time I have been a successful student athlete and through the experience I have learned good time management skills. I will always work hard on and off the field.
