*Makayla Malone is an aspiring collegiate softball player, currently a student-athlete at Crystal Lake Central High School, class of 2025. For the past three years, she has been a starter on her high school varsity team, demonstrating her skills and leadership on the field. Her exceptional performance earned her the 2023 CLUTCH PLAYER and TOUGHNESS Award, recognized by her coaches and peers for her ability to deliver under pressure and her resilient spirit.

Makayla's dedication to softball is evident in her nine years of pitching experience. She has a great mix of speed and spin, an excellent changeup, and is an athletic defensive pitcher.

In addition to pitching, Makayla is a versatile player, batting second in the lineup and excelling as a center fielder. Her defensive prowess includes tracking and catching fly balls, pop-ups, and line drives, as well as making difficult plays that stop potential home runs. She consistently hits her cutoffs and delivers accurate throws to the catcher, showcasing her comprehensive skill set and game awareness.
