Personal Statement
I have been playing softball for as long as I can remember. I am always working hard and trying to get better at everything that I do. The dream of college softball has been there since I was a little girl watching the Women's College World Series on TV.
I want to go to a school that allows me to play softball with girls who have the same goals as I do, to win a National Championship, while also giving me the top academic programs that I can study at. School and academics have always been very important to me, and I work hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA and remain as the top scholar in my class.
I am a team leader, always trying to pick my teammates up when errors happen. I try to get better every day on the field, and help my teammates get better as well. I always try to be the best teammate on my team, always having every one of my teammate's backs on and off the field; helping them if they make an error, and cheering the loudest when they do something great. Talking on the field is one thing that I strive to always do, trying to be the loudest to help keep energy inside of my team. When I pitch, I always am trying to command the circle and the field, keeping my team calm but still full of energy.
Going to a program that I can help make an impact on is very important to me because I want to help the team to our goal, to go to and win the Women's College World Series.
