Summer 2017Personal Statement
I started out my athletic life in soccer, like many little kids from Illinois. From there I found softball. I started out with coach pitch and fell in love. I have always known that I wanted to play softball in college no matter what I had to do to get there. My goal in college is to become a better leader and lead my team to many championships and possibly to the WCWs. Since I joined my current travel organization I have grown as a player and a person. I found an intensity and passion for the game that I've never felt in any other sport. I love the game and I show it when I play. I hope that I can spread that same light and passion for sports to any team, program, school, or community I join and am a part of.
