Morgan Wozniak '20 Recruiting Profile

Hard work and dedication define everything I do in life. I started playing summer softball in kindergarten. I remember watching the big kids that were there playing and helping and thinking that I wanted to be able to play like they did. Everything looked so easy for them. I strived to be a better player every time I stepped foot on the field. All the time I was working to be as good as “the big kids” that were helping in the program. As time went on I became “the big kid” as I was able to help with the softball program at my school. I wanted to be a role model for them. Someone that they could look up to, so they would have the desire to play like me. I gained a love of the game through all of these experiences. I knew then, that I would want to keep playing softball from elementary, to middle school and high school, and now in college. I have had to work hard to become the player I have become. I will also continue to work hard to become a better player. I believe that academic success is just as important as athletic success. I may work hard on the field but I work harder in the classroom. Someday I may have to hang up my cleats but with the hard work I will do in school I will hang up a degree that will take me further in life than I ever could imagine.
