Hello. My name is Samantha Turner. I will be graduating from East Central High School in St. Leon, Indiana in 2014. I recently was notified that I made the Indiana 2nd Team All State (2013), as well as All Conference. I tied the school record for triples in a season with 9 as starting varsity shortstop. My Sophomore Season (2012), I was starting varsity shortstop and won Indiana All District, All Conference, All County and Conference Batting Champion. My Freshman season (2011), I was able to take over the varsity shortstop position within 1 week into season and earned All Conference, All County and Conference Newcomer of the Year.
I have enjoyed playing fastpitch since I was 7 years old. I have played travel ball each season attending many different tournaments. I have always known that I wanted to pursue playing fastpitch at the collegiate level and have been working hard to prepare myself to play at that level. I have speed, a strong arm, quick hands, and I'm very coachable.
