Personal Statement
I have been playing softball since I was 7 years old and I have been playing travel ball since I was 13. I have aspired to play softball at the collegiate level since I was a little girl. I know playing college softball is an opportunity not every one gets to have and it would change my life for the better.
I am a team leader and I try to lead by example and in an encouraging supportive way. I am very coach-able on and off the field and strive to one of the hardest working players and recruits you will find.
I treat the classroom the same as the ball-field. I study hard and work hard to maintain a high GPA. I also volunteer for local sport organizations and I am a member of various school sports teams as my school does not have a softball team these sports include rugby, curling, and track and field.
I would like to attend a college that gives me the opportunity to push myself in the classroom and compete in softball at a competitive level. I ultimately want to find the right college that allows me to learn and play the game I love. I hope to be a great role model to all peers and make my family, team, and coaches proud.
