Personal Statement
My goal as a student-athlete is to make myself the best that I can possibly be, and what other different way is there to fulfill that, other than compete at the next level of the sport you've played forever. I want to strive to strengthen my game on the physical and mental side. What makes me different from other student athletes is that I realize there is more to the game than just being athletically gifted. You have to train yourself to push yourself farther than your brain will let you, to become a better athlete. All those pains and aches will go away sometimes, you just have to push through it. On another note I have juggled all of my school work, lifting hours, many hours of practices, and extra- curricular activities my whole short-lived high school career, I know when to chose my priorities. Lastly, My education comes before my athletic activities, sure it's great that you're a decent player, but if you can't keep your grades up does it really matter? The answer to that it simply no.
