Hello, my name is Rachel Martinez. I like to put my full effort in everything I do, whether it is on the field, off the field, something I am familiar with, or is brand new. I try my hardest no matter what so that I can succeed at what I am doing, as quickly as possible to make myself stand out. I try to bring a positive attitude to the field with me no matter what has happened that day because I know that playing softball will help me move past it. Something that helps to set me apart from other softball players, is that when the game is going a mile a minute, and most people's minds speed up and they get tense and feel the pressure, my mind slows down and helps me stay focused. When I go to college, I would like to get a degree in education. Being a softball player and working with many instructors and coaches has helped to teach me what methods work best to teach the most efficiently. I know that the most important thing to do in college is working hard to get your degree, and I would love to play softball while doing so.
