Personal Statement

I am interested in playing softball at the collegiate level.  I am a committed athlete but I excel in my academics as well.  I have received the scholar athlete award every season during soccer, basketball and softball since Freshman year. I have recently been inducted into the National Honor Society.  I take pride in being a true team player and love being part of a team. I am the one in the dugout cheering my teammates on when we are winning and not letting them give up when we hit a rough spot.

During Freshman year, I received All-County Honorable Mention for my work at the plate and athleticism in center field.  I also received the Southern Bulldog Coach's Award for my accomplishments on the team, leading Anne Arundel County with 22 stolen bases.

During Sophomore year, I received All-County Second Team.  As a team, we advanced to the 2A Regional Championship games where we placed 2nd.

Junior year was successful as well, receiving All-County Second Team for a second year. I was also selected for Honorable Mention to the Coaches' All-County team.  Our team once again competed in the2A Regional Championship, placing 2nd.
