Personal Statement
I am an athlete who loves to WIN!! Although I pitch and play outfield, I am willing to play wherever I am needed, and I do so with a positive attitude and trust in myself and my team. Softball has been a part of my life for over 10 years, and I hope to keep the streak alive in college. Not only has my training helped me physically as an athlete, but I have learned to work with others, to recover from my failures quickly, and to be a leader by presentation and mental toughness. Softball has, also, helped me a lot with my academics, teaching me time management skills and how to communicate well with others. I strive to remain confident in my and my team's abilities, be optimistic regardless of the situation, recover from my failures in life and on the field, and be excellent in everything I do. As a city girl, I have learned to adapt to my surroundings and work hard to get what I want. I hope to play at the collegiate level, and help lead a team via my softball abilities as well as my voice and attitude when I take the field.
