I've been playing softball since I was 4 years old. I was a pitcher for many years, before moving to other positions. My varsity coach has called me a true utility player, and that’s where my softball IQ shines. I typically alternate between OF and middle infield, but in the 2023 varsity season, I also started at catcher, even though I have never played that position before. When I wasn't behind the plate, I played short or first. I'm a true team player and I have the most fun when I'm cheering on my teammates, win or lose. I like learning about the game, so I ask my coaches a lot of questions so that I can continue to improve. This year, I’ve especially focused on improving my hitting and I’ve been very happy with the results.
I am an Honors student who is interested in a career involving meteorology or environmentally focused sciences. I would enjoy continuing my softball career if the fit is right.
In addition to softball and varsity track, I also like to ride horses. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to ride much lately due to sports schedules. I started riding when I was 4 years old and my favorite horse was a retired thoroughbred named Tico. We competed in the local Central Mass 4H shows when I was younger.
