My name is Andrea MacMichael and I am going into my junior year at Groves High School in Beverly Hills, Michigan. I have always enjoyed sports and have competed in soccer, figure skating, and softball. I currently figure skate and play softball. As an individual sport, figure skating has shown me how much effort you need to put into your own skills. This helps me in softball, where it is important to do my part to help out my team. I play centerfield and have finished two varsity softball seasons as a starter. As a sophomore I was named All-League and All-District 1st Team. I think my biggest strength is speed, which helps me steal bases and gives me a lot of range. I love playing softball because of the companionship of my teammates, and I want to experience this at the college level. I hope to attend a high academic school where I can also play competitive softball.
