Emma Bleau '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach:

I am very excited about the prospect of receiving a quality education focused on biology as I hope to go into the medical or veterinary field. Ideally, I would love to also continue my softball career while pursuing my education. I am very dedicated to both my academics and my athletic endeavors.  I consistently strive to improve and become the best I can be. I exhibit a strong work ethic on and off the field.  I am continuously positive and encouraging with my teammates.  As a team captain, I try to set an example for all my teammates by always emphasizing hard work on the field and particularly during the off season when champions are made. I constantly practice softball specific skills in gyms and turf rooms and also train year round for strength, speed and conditioning.  My coaches would describe me as a great role model and an excellent teammate that would contribute by doing whatever my team needed. They would also say that I am a very committed player that leads by example and that my attitude, competitive spirit and confidence on the mound inspires others on the field. Ultimately, I am committed to my future education at a great college.  I have always felt a sense of pride playing for my school and community.  It would be amazing to become a greater part of my college community by contributing to the softball program while I am in school.
