I have always wanted to be involved in collegiate athletics since I was very young.
I started playing softball when I was five years old, and began to compete in travel clubs when I was ten years old. As a freshman, I made my school's varsity softball team as a starter. Going into my junior year now, I will have had 3 years experience on the varsity softball team as a starter and 2 years experience on the varsity volleyball team. I have already been named Captain for both sports. I am also a part of my school's marching band and concert band in the percussion section.
I am a very good student with a 3.97 GPA, putting me in the Top 15 of my class. I am taking math and science classes that are one year ahead of what is required for my class.
I always put my family, my faith, and my academics before athletics. It will be a great honor to play college softball, and I will be sure to make the most of the experience.
