Rilie Schmidt '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2024 graduate attending Delano High School in Delano Minnesota. I used to play basketball and was also apart of the Delano trap shooting team but now I'm apart of an elite softball team year round called MN Elite playing infield positions such as middle infield and 3rd base . I'm also apart of school softball, The Delano Tigers Varsity team. I work hard at academics as that is a huge part of reaching my goal of becoming a collegiate softball player. #13

I am interested in becoming an RN, possibly in the Dermatology field. I consider myself to be a very coachable player that responds well and adjusts to feedback. I am very passionate and determined about the game of softball and have always had a love for it and consider myself to be a good teammate. I am willing to put the work in to get to the college level and once I get there, I will continue to work just as hard. Being a good softball player or even a great softball player isnt the same as having the "love" for the game, "knowing" the game. I hope to simply keep improving my skills, and keeping the friends I've made and making new ones along the way.
