Growing up in a large family that is 90% boys is greatly influential in the life of a young girl. I cannot remember a time when we were not playing football, baseball, or soccer in my grandma’s front yard. Being the oldest of four children, my dad and I became very close. When I was just four years old, he introduced me to softball, taught me all the fundamentals, and got me everything I needed to succeed. He has stuck by me every step of my journey. It is safe to say I would not be the player I am today or have the dreams I have without my dad.
My goals for high school are pretty straightforward: maintain my 4.0, focus on learning and my extracurricular activities, and find a college that fits my athletic and academic needs. After graduating high school, my goal is to acquire a college degree in music education. By becoming an educator my goal is to make the lives of my students better, and to better myself in the process.
A unique characteristic I possess is the ability to remain positive through anything. I believe that if something happens, it happens for a reason and that it will be okay. I am very energetic and love cheering people on. There is not a time that I am not excited about one thing or another. I love picking people up when they are down, or just lifting them up even higher - it brings me joy.
