Kaileigh Dirden '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal in my softball career is to be the best I can be and to work to perfection. I'm a fast learner and a hardworking pitcher and hitter. I can make smart and quick decisions while playing the sport. I never want to stop playing this sport. It's fun to experience new things and make new friends, but when it's game time, I mean business. I never lose focus during the game and I play hard to win. Even during practice I'm focused in because you play the way you practice, and if you practice poorly, you will play poorly. You can either get better or worse, but I choose to get better each day. I can do that by hustling, listening, and work harder than anyone else who steps on the field. It's about skill, strength, and smarts. I don't get down on myself because if I don't believe in myself, who else can? To have a successful game and life is to believe in yourself and to have confidence in your team,coaches,and yourself. I can accomplish anything if I just put my mind to it and work at it. I apply this to everything I do, especially school.
