Personal Statement
I exceptionally interested in playing college softball. From the time I began my participation at age six, I was hooked. I enjoy the sport, the adrenaline, the drive it brings me, the teammate interactions, and the all around atmosphere. I have always been intrigued with the idea of playing college softball. I want to push myself to be the best I can possibly be, and quitting after high school is not at all something I want to do.
Everybody has strengths, whether it is as a student, an athlete, or a human being. Some of my personal strengths as an athlete include competitiveness, coachability, a positive attitude, being a team player, dedication, focus, and commitment. A few strengths I have as a student include time management, organization, and a willingness to participate. Strengths I have as a person include being respectful, responsible, determined, and reliable.
My academic and athletic goal is to be enrolled in a Division 1 University. I want to compete at the highest level I can, as a student athlete. It has always been my dream to play at a big school and I have been working on achieving that with each year I participate. Another goal of mine is to continue to improve as a leader. I love helping, cheering on, and encouraging my teammates. I just plan to work on more of the communication techniques involved with true team participation and support.
