Hi my name is Heidi Rausch and I live in Polson, MT. I am 5'7'' and 155 pounds. I am a three sport athlete as I play volleyball, basketball, and softball and have maintained my 4.0 through my high school career thus far. I have acheived academic all state 8 times in my high school career thus far. I am looking at schools that will push me academically while giving me the opportunity to play college softball at a competitive level. My primary position is catching, but I also can play anywhere in the outfield and have been used as a designated hitter. I started out playing baseball when I was very little and then began playing softball my 5th grade year. My family has always been baseball fanatics and after we moved to Polson where the softball program was more competitive I have become in love with the game. My softball teams have been very successful. My high school team has won back to back to back state championships in 2010, 2011, and 2012. I was a platoon player my freshman year, an outfielder my sophomore year, and I played centerfield my junior year. I received first team all conference- outfield 2011 and 2012. I also received first team all state and all tournament team in 2012. I have Played ASA every year since my 6th grade summer and have been on a few successful teams. Last year my summer team took second at the Spokane Regional "B" Tournament in Spokane, WA. I am looking forward to my upcoming summer as I am playing for a 18U traveling team out of Missoula, MT called the Missoula Avalanche. The goal of this team is to get top notch players from around Mt and get them college exposure outside of the state. I am the main catcher for my summer team, but am also playing some outfield. My senior schedule will consist of Physiology, AP Calculus, English 12, AP Government, and Physics. I will be involved in key club, president of the Student body, and President of National Honors Society. I have also been involved in homecoming floats, class president my freshman year, and other school activities. School is my top priority above anything else and I have been happy with how my schooling has been going. I have maintained my 4.0 for the first three year of high school. I have taken the ACT twice with my highest score being a 24. I plan on retaking it in the fall of 2012.
