Personal Statement
Softball has always been a huge part of my life. I'm from a small town in southeast Nebraska which has taught me to take what I'm and make the most of it. Every given minute of the game, I do my best at making it count. I work harder and harder every day to become the college athlete that I've always dreamed of being. I am very coachable and more than willing to learn new things and techniques. My ultimate goal is not to play for a certain college as of yet, but to play for a college that truly supports, educates, and coaches me to the best of their ability. I will play for the school as if I was fighting for my country, with the most pride and devotion I could possibly give. I sometimes can be shy around new people however, I usually come out of it right away. I am loud and communicate on the field very well. I have always been a leader and carry the mentality of the team. I know that if I get down, so does my team. Therefore, I try and stay as optimistic as possible so that we have a better mentality and can come back and WIN! Academics are very important to me! I have maintained a 4.0 my entire life because I feel that learning is more than important, even algebra!
