Bailey Brown '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I'm Bailey. You'd take a look at me and think "This is just an average girl who wants a shot at playing ball in college", but this is not the case.  I am not just your typical sophomore.  I have been playing softball since the time I was thought of. My mom played while she was pregnant with me.  At the age of 5, I picked up a bat and was determined to turn the game of softball into a way of life for myself.  As I got older I realized when I stepped onto a field all the problems I have in life disappeared. This is when I realized I wanted to continue playing softball into college. For some softball is a time filler, for me it is what I live to exceed in. Not everyone has a favorite thing to do, but I do. Softball is my passion, my way of life.  I love everything about game. The loses, the wins, the dirt under my feet, the way the ball hits my glove while fielding and then flows out of my hand during the throw.  The energy I feel coursing through my veins is something I don't feel any other time.  There is something else though. 

The work and effort I put into my sport is the same amount I put into my schooling.

Hey, I'm Bailey. I'm a straight A, 4.00 GPA student. I would like succeed in life. My goal is to do so well in school that my family doesn't have to worry about paying for my schooling. I have rather large heart. I want to help people. I will be the first to admit, I have no clue what I would like do with my life beside helping someone. I have thought about profiling or becoming a CPS worker,  maybe even a nurse. I wanna become the person I needed when i was younger. I live with the thought " Somewhere there is a little person trying to grow and strive to be just like me".
