Anna Brown '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Anna Brown.  I attend Northern Adirondack Central School in Ellenburg Depot, NY, and I will be a junior in the fall of 2018.  I am beginning my college search and I am interested in continuing my softball career at the collegiate level.  I intend to major in diagnostic medical sonography or athletic training with hopes of becoming a sonographer or working with athletes like myself.  I feel my strengths as a player are my ability as an athlete to take positive and constructive feedback from a coach as well as the effort I put into the sports and academics that I participate in.  As a three sport athlete in high school, I know how important it is to manage my time between my studies, my volunteering, my practices and games, as well as my individual training to become a stronger player.  I am hoping to gain the knowledge needed for the major I wish to pursue as well as the camaraderie of being part of a team of a sport I love.   I am a versatile player having played in many positions over the past few years including, pitcher, first base, and right field.  As a left-hander, I have had to adapt to certain situations on the field.
