I am a Latina who aspires to be in the field of psychology. I want to be not only a great student but a great athlete, if I have the chance to be able to play in a college softball team I most likely wouldn't think about it twice. I'm a very open person, I like to create new relationships with people, I'm outgoing but there are times where I can be very stubborn. I care a lot for people who are important to me and I also like to help out if I can, it doesn't matter who it is it can be a stranger who is in need. Academically, I don't only try my best in academics but to also become a better softball player, going into my last season of playing varsity softball I have worked very hard throughout the summer and continue to do so before the school year starts and throughout. I don't strive for "good enough", I try to become the best at something I want to do. I take softball seriously so when I know I'm not doing to the best of my ability I get frustrated but I come to realize that I have to practice even harder to get to where I want to be, I'm very open to new ideas and techniques. To me, my team has become like a second family, we have built great bonds and I have great relationships with many of my teammates. In my team we don't give up until the game is finalized, when some want to give up I will go up and talk to them and just talk about it. Not just during the season but throughout the school year I like to check up on my team to know how they're doing and if theres ever a problem they have I would like for them to think that I can be someone they can talk to. I love softball and all but my teammates are also human beings just like I am so I believe we should be there for one another in times of need.
