Personal Statement

I am a hard working student athlete who worked very hard to test and get into the prestigious Kellenberge H.S .on Long Island . My Education takes a back seat to no activities in my life. I have maintained  92% average making the Deans list for the past 9 trimesters . I am extremely interested in the Health field and it is my main goal and ambition is to pursue a quality education as a student athlete at an accredited college .  I am a  loyal determined girls and I refuse to accept No or be told I cannot do it . I work year round not only playing softball but as a goalie on my HS and Travel soccer team. I spend my winter  attending  a Softball specific conditioning Program at Athletes In Training in Franklin square NY .  My primary sport is Softball . I play  not only for my H.S but play for the Long Island 2001 Black team  .I am  a Lefty First baseman who also plays Catcher and Right field.  I have a pretty solid bat consistently batting in the 3 or 4 spot since I played  9 u . In 2015 I  earned the Long Island Thunder  Silver slugger award  and I am honored to say that in November of 2016 I was presented the Thunder 2016 Offensive impact player of the year award .  I  usually hits to left center but will pull on occasions . In 2016 I have  lead our team  respectively  in Avg, 2B, 3B, HR's and RBI's , I have hit 10 Hr this year  and has also have  lead our team in slugging percentage over the past 3 years . At the USSSA Labor Day shoot out 2016 I  batted 1000% going 8 for 8 with 3 walks ,2 doubles and a triple .  In fall of 2016 I began a new catching  program working weekly with former D1 StonyBrook University Catcher and 3 year starter Allie Pischotta . It is my  personal goal to become a great base runner in 2017/2018  , I am not a slap hitter but I have  good speed down the line. My  goal for as long as I can remember is get a college Education and Play college softball. While my  aspirations are high I  want to play in a world series. I  believe nothing is far fetched . My  H.S is a prominent Catholic H.S on Long Island and promotes Education and religion. I have a deep faith is god and  I have high hopes and aspirations in life . I completely understand that my college education is my goal , I am just hoping to be lucky enough to play softball on my journey, Please visit some of my you tube clips attached below

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
