Casey Zepernick '19 Recruiting Profile

The highlights of my softball career so far are making varsity as a freshman, being the starting second baseman, and leading the team in the majority of the hitting statistics including average, OBP, RBI, hits, doubles, and HR. My biggest setback was when I broke my finger playing softball for my club team this past summer. This made me realize how much I love the game. While I was out, I tried to be as supportive as possible for my team. I would cheer extra loud, help with the equipment, and keep my mind on the game. Once I got back to my favorite sport, I was more determined than ever to become the best softball player I could be.

I believe I have many attributes that would be an asset to your college softball team. While playing for my school and select teams, I have been the starting second baseman, shortstop, first baseman and outfielder. Playing these different defensive positions has given me a broad range of softball knowledge. I have a positive attitude, on and off the field and I always try to exceed expectations. I believe I have the softball knowledge, skills, and character to be a highly productive member of your team.
