I am a very academically focused athlete who is extremely team oriented. As a catcher, I have learned to adjust to the needs of my pitcher and team, remain calm and positive under all circumstances and love to have fun on the side! I have been playing softball since I was 4 years old and it is a huge part of my identity. As I have played on different teams and been led by various coaches, one thing remains the same, the team bond is crucial to success. I am one player who is constantly striving to get better, but I always want to cheer on and help everyone else be the best they can be in the process. My farm background has instilled a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to ever changing situations and demands.
As the oldest of three children, I have learned to care for and be a good role model for my sister and brother. I have strong family values that carry over to the family atmosphere of all of the teams I have been on including volleyball and basketball. With parents and grandparents as educators, I value good grades and the balance of sports and academics. Any college that I would attend and team I would play on would get my best effort all the time. I look forward to growing in a new environment and making an impact wherever I land!
