Brittney Thacker '10 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Ridgedale High School with a strong desire to play softball at the college level. I am approximately 4' 10" tall and weigh 95 pounds. Some find this strange but I really am that size and I feel it is an assett. I am quick around the bases and I don't mind "getting dirty". I will slide head first, feet first, or slide and pop up depending on the situation. I feel my coaches like me becuase I am a team player and I am quite coachable. I will do whatever is asked of me and do it to the best of my ability. I will give 100% becuase that is what I have always needed to do in the classroom and on the field. I have never started a season in any sport that I did not finish. In all my years of playing sports in Junior High and High School, I have never missed a practice. I prefer a college that is in the Eastern United States and would also love the opportunity to attend a Christian college as I am a born again Christian. I would like to use my God given talents to help me not only do what I love but to also help me get a college education. I feel that is a win-win situation. I plan to major in Forensic Science or possibly education. My goal is to be playing college softball as a freshman as an outfielder. It is always my goal to strive to be the best even if that seems unrealistic, it keeps me working hard to better myself.
