Personal Statement
I plan on majoring in education or sports management, as I one day would like to coach softball. I currently hold a 3.4 GPA, and I am continuing to work hard to better my grades. If I struggle with a subject, I don't hesitate to ask for help in order to keep my grades up.
As a softball player, I have played every position. My best positions are SS, CF, and RHP, but I adapt easily to new positions, and I will play wherever I am needed to be a better player for my team. I consider my team my family, and I do my absolute best in a positive atmosphere surrounded by players with the same goal...to be best I can be, and push harder to improve even more. I have played travel softball for 4 season, and I have attended many clinics and camps for The Softball Factory in order to improve my play.
As a player, I have the utmost respect for my coaches and trainers, umpires, and field staff. I have the discipline necessary to play at the college level, whether it is needed for classwork, conditioning, or the game itself.
Given the chance, I believe I would be an asset to my softball family. Playing college softball has been my dream since I began playing the game. I want to make that dream a reality.
