Samantha Brown '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi everyone, I am Samantha Brown. I am a senior and Warren High School located in Vincent, Ohio. My goals for the collegiate level are to be the best player that I was coached to be, be a team leader and supporter for my teammates and coaches, and to always be playing at 110% effort. I am a good candidate for your team because on and off the field I am a team player always supporting everyone, I provide a lot of runs on the score board, I am very fast on my feet which is helpful for base running and for covering more ground on the field. What makes me different and stand out in my character is that I always keep a good attitude and respectful towards all my coaches and higher ups. I am willing to step up and become a leader for the rest of my team if needed and always encouraging my teammates to do their best. Athletically,  I am different because I am a natural aggressive base runner, I will throw my body in the air to try to make a catch or ground ball, and with slapping, I can read my defense well to where I know what kind of slap will give me the best chance to get on base and to move runners. With academics, I stand out with a lot of my teachers because I grasp a concept faster than the rest of my class, my work is always turned in on time, and I take the extra step in getting help with a topic that I might not understand as well.
